People would ask me how I qualify to run a country. My answer is, I don't want to run a country, I want to work for the country. Many of our leaders have lost site of this. They constantly forget what's best for the people and only seem to vote on things that are best for their party and friends.
If I ever became president, there would be a few policies that I would like to to see go through. Here are a few of them:
1) Fuck the rich....I know it may sound crude but, my language is nothing compared to the disgusting acts the top 1% have done to the American people over the last 30 years. There are some exceptions but, I bet those would go along with increased taxes for their bracket to better our schools and public works programs.
2) Legalize it......that's right, legalize Marijuana for many different reasons. First off, tax it as we already do for alcohol and cigarettes. Take that money and put it into drug rehab centers for people who have problems with real drugs. Secondly, hire scientists to look at the plant and come up with as many real world applications as we can for it including alternative fuels. Lastly, along with the bill there would be another side. Increased sentences for distribution of drugs like Cocaine, Meth and Heroin. These are the real drugs that harm society. I've never heard of someone knocking over a liquor store to get some weed.
3) Make sure that church and state stay seperate, no matter what........ No religion to be taught in schools and change the Pledge of Allegance back to it's pre-1950's form removing "Under God" all together. Also, abolish dry counties in the south and the laws in a few of our states which proclaim that no Atheist may hold public office or defend themself in court. If highscool kids want to form a religion club that meets before or after school or during lunch, that is fine. Also, if you wish to hang a cross or some other religious relic at your desk at work, that is fine. Just as long as it's not in a government run facility. Just remember, if you hang your picture of Jesus, you can't get mad at the person behind you that hung a pentagram.
4) Disband the FCC.......This will open up funds for programs and jobs that are actually needed. The FCC is a bi-product of religion so, it has no place in our government. If you don't like the language you see on a specific channel, change it. I'm sure that the TV and radio stations will govern themselves just fine because they know if they go too over the top as it comes to lack of censorship, they may lose viewers.
5) Reduce our military budget......I'm not talking about making us weaker, just closing foreign bases. We don't need them any more and getting rid of bases in places like Germany could save us billions.
6) Get them back on our side......Thanks to G.W. most of the world hates us and it would take some serious fucking PR work to change that. Obama has started us in the right direction but, we need to do more. As President I'd make sure that our allies knew that most of us hated Bush as much as they do. I would also have to let them know that America as a whole wasn't to blame, just a few fuck-heads that had their own agenda.
